Administration of Kalvarija Municipality is budget office and was established on 29 June, 2000, does the functions set in the legislation, implements the legislation, organizes an implementation of public services, provides a public administration function, effectively meets interests of the community. 11846 people live in Kalvarija region. Kalvarija region is a frontier region with Poland. Distance from Kalvarija town to the frontier is 12 kilometers. People living in Kalvarija say that it is an “entry to Europe”. Modern youth is precipitate, interactive, hurrying, usually forget traditions. It is future of the European Union. It is necessary to save the traditions, cultural identity. During the project, we will make activities that include discussions, educational trainings. During the activities, participants will be able to give their opinions, share their experiences. During the project, exhibitions and concerts will be organized for participants of any age.
