Informacja o organizacji

Forum for Glocal Change came into existence with the belief that people in a local place can alter and influence regional, national and global processes of change. It was officially established at the beginning of October 2018 so it is brand new but we have big dreams and plans. Our mission is to improve the conditions for democratic participation of all social groups, foster intercultural dialogue and encourage active citizenship that can link global and local phenomena for the benefit of communities. Our first project was a workshop called Redefining Multiculturalism: Theory, Critiques and Practices. We are currently working on a small but extremely interesting qualitative research into how people from the EU periphery (Southern Italy and Southern Bulgaria) perceive the Union and what their "glocal" issues are.
