The community led development consists of an in-terpretive centre with funding allocated to develop a complete Norman Village re-enactment site. The project has been funded by Fáilte Ireland as well as other public funds.

-Facilitate visits in host town/ travel to Ireland-Provide an insight into the Norman influence in their context
-provide links in various sectors to facilitate collabo-ration.
Opis projektu
We are looking to twin with a town with strong Norman Heritage to develop our historical links with the Normandy Region in France.The project aims are:
To improve our understanding of Norman History and their influence on wider European History.
To develop and share our own Norman History with a partner in Europe.
To facilitate cultural visits that would promote a shared understanding of the Noman influence in our own contexts
To promote collaboration between local busi-nesses, organisations and schools
We are ideally looking to twin with a town in the Normandy Department in France.
