AFESMO, Mental Health Association from Molina and Comarca, is a therapeutic service designed and organized to offer rehabilitation programs, psychosocial care and community support to the population of people with mental problems who have difficulties in their psychosocial functioning and integration into the society.

AFESMO MISSION to fight for the social and labour integration of these people, from a rehabilitative approach that enhances the psychosocial aspects and demands a dignified sanitary treatment that allows having an attendance comparable to any other illness.

The VISION we have in our Association, is to HELP and SUPPORT, both people with mental illness and their families, to achieve the highest possible degree of integration and normalization in society, avoiding isolation, reducing the number of hospital admissions and, therefore, increasing the level of quality of life of our users.

Opis projektu

Understanding ways of life of inmates and ex-prisoners with mental health problems in and out of penitentiary.

Description:
Explain to civil society how life in penitentiary is for people with mental health problem in order to find creative solutions for improving the resources for these people in and out of penitentiary.

Aims of the project:
1. Improve knowledge about :
- Life of prisoners with mental health problems, rights and obligations.
- National resources for these inmates within EU countries.
- European citizens with mental health problems in penitentiary abroad from EU countries.
2. Creating a space for discussing and debating about ways to improve the quality of life of these people.
